Integration
Software Development and Application Integration
All the three Andaio’s founding companies were at their beginning pure software developers. They developed, between other software, their own BI technology with parallel OLAP engines, payment processing solutions and considerable number of custom solutions. Currently we are involved in several long running application maintenance projects in several large companies. Some of these are application modernization projects for IBM platform users, as described in the IBM Power System Page.
Implementing the solutions for Data Centers, RPA, Secure File Transfer, Business Intelligence and other solutions from our portfolio we frequently apply our development sills to tightly integrate these solutions with the existing environment.
The current trend in application solutions consists in building them from multiple smaller pieces, may times provided by different software manufacturers or Open-Source communities, rather than traditional monolithic solutions, pretending to solve “everything for everybody”.
The integration between the different parts of a solution is every time more solved using dynamic data exchange through API’s and web services, beside the traditional interchange via Data Integration tools, which are still valid for many specific situations, as we show in the following paragraph.

Data Integration
Data Integration means the transformation, optimization and replica of data among different data bases. In real time, regardless of databases, operating systems, and without limitations for physical, virtual or cloud systems. With no needs for manual processes or to modify existing programs or write new software.

Use Cases with Data Transformation Tools
Extract, Transform and Load
If you need to eliminate the costs and complexities of manual ETL processes between databases our solutions can be used to automate all these processes.
Reporting
Improve business decision-making and workflow by replicating data in real time to your systems of choice for reporting or processing.

Business Intelligence
Feed data from distributed databases into a single consolidated database, data warehouse or data lake for centralized access and insights.

Migrations
Eliminate lock-in to old technology by migrating or re-platforming data to a new database or operating system. It could be done among physical systems, virtual systems and the cloud.
